A Novel Synchronized Multiple Output DC-DC Converter Based on Hybrid Flyback-Cuk Topologies

This paper proposes a new hybrid flyback-Cuk (HFC) converter. The converter consists of single switch, isolated input, and dual output based on flyback Cuk topologies. HFC topology is proposed to reduce switching losses improve the duty cycle range over which voltage can be stepped down, would ultimately lead an increase in efficiency. For step-down capability, traditional topologies (flyback or Cuk) require less than 50% cycle. low conventional converters leads operational Therefore, developed operate at up 85% for same capability. analysis, derivations, design, simulation are thoroughly discussed two different applications power levels. results obtained using MATLAB 2020a. HFC’s efficiency as function plotted, reaches 89%, representing significant improvement. supply absorb simultaneously, giving it edge other converters. It suitable energy conversion storage systems, such renewable systems electric vehicles (EV). To show effectiveness validate proposed, EV along with battery (BES), applied charge (EV) recharge (BES) simultaneously. 1.5 kW HFC-PFC universal that achieve high factor 97.5% 260 Vrms. Moreover, total harmonics distortion measured between 36.25 27.69%. Thus, all required functions efficiently minimum cycles.
